An update of recent events...
Wed: went swimming at the pool along with April and the kids... I actually managed to learn to dive again...
Thurs: went to sportsworks with the kids which is like this place with a rock climbing wall, bungee jumping, tons of virtual reality sport games. The kids and I made it to the wall of champions for virtual reality soccer. I went on a unicycle on a steel beam that was like 20 ft in the air....scary stuff... We designed our own rollercoaster and went on it...not a bad place to take your kids....
Fri: went to Lulu's Noodles...and ran into Alan. Boy did it suck trying to find a parking place there....Its never worth it to eat in the city....all that parking trouble. Then went to Dave n Busters...with the kid's family and April. That is an expensive place for a lot of fun!!! Came back with a new keychain, a folding brush and a shot glass. Not bad for 2 hrs and 10 bux
Sat: went to a Bridal Shower but left to go shopping at the mall with my friend who was also at the shower. We didn't know the bride anyways hehe. I bought these nice khakis that were on sale and some hair products while my friend went all out and blowing 300 something bux. Then we got hungry and didn't feel like spending anymore money so we went back to join the shower and filled up our stomaches...mmm.. later we watched the bride open up gifts which consisted of picture frames picture frames and more picture frames...
Sun: went to church and afterwards made a million pieces of sushi to take to the annual church picnic. The picnic was alright but kinda boring. The sub pastor randomly asked youth to sing for everyone and we were like...huh ....we ended up singing Open the eyes of my heart and Above all. It didn't sound all that bad for some impromptu chorus from us. hehe
Yeah been having lots of fun to pass away the days before I leave!!! 4 more days....ahhh I can't wait... |
